Dan founded Flowdesign, Inc. in 1997. Since the inception of Flowdesign, Dan and his in-house group of creative specialists have won many awards for both technical and branding design achievements. Flowdesign’s client list spans various industries, including beer, wine, spirits, non-alcoholic beverages, food, and other consumer goods. The list includes successful brands like Hansen Beverages, Stoli, Coca-Cola, Peet’s Coffee and Tea, Honest Tea, and Coors Brewing Company, to name a few.

Helping start-up companies such as SoBe Beverages, Honest Tea, Blue Ice Vodka and Xango Juice reach multi-million dollar sales success through marketing and brand design is the motivation that drives Flowdesign’s creativity.

When he’s not in the office, Dan enjoys perusing retail aisles to keep abreast of the latest trends, and conducting impromptu “focus group” discussions at social gatherings about the latest in package designs. Indeed, Dan rarely stems the flow of his creative juices. When he does, Dan loves spending time with his family, coaching youth wrestling, and enjoying the northern Michigan landscapes boating and snowmobiling.
Dan received his bachelor’s degree in package design at Michigan State University. He received his MBA in marketing at the University of Tampa. Dan has previously worked as an illustrator, graphic artist, industrial designer, and creative director.
